Where I work during the day, we have tons of pallets laying around just waiting for something to happen. I’ve often thought of hauling a bunch of them home to make stuff … but what would I make? Lucky for me I have blogging friends who inspire me on a daily basis and have provided me with much needed inspiration to get started on a few DIY pallet projects. Here’s my collection of ideas from them. Let me know which you like best!
Oh, I just adore this lemonade stand made with pallets from All Things with Purpose. The stand is cute, the colors are cute, the kids are cute! I think I need to make this for my granddaughter Zoe.
A long pallet planter box like this one from Blooming Homestead is definitely on my radar. I need a couple of long flower boxes for my front porch and this one fits the bill!
I’m a huge fan of over-sized clocks and I’m lovin’ this one from Little Red Brick House. It would be so easy to add a clockwork kit and turn this into a live and clicking pallet clock.
How amazing is this wood pallet fireplace from Addison Meadows Lane? Pretty amazing!
Linda from It All Started with Paint made this darling pallet monogram letter. Love this idea!
I’m seriously in awe of Heather’s mad carpentry skills. She made this amazing pallet potting bench (complete with sink, I might add) and shares the tutorial on her blog, Setting for Four.
More mad carpentry skills appear at High Style Restyle with this darling pallet cooler … just in time for summer!
Debra at Shoppe No. 5 gave more oomph to a simple metal sign by framing it with pallet wood and chicken wire.
My blogging peers are putting me to shame! A coffee table made with pallets? The Hashtag Blessed Blog makes it look easy with a full tutorial on her blog.
This cute little compass sign was crafted by Kendra at Silver Lining DIY.
Meegan at Meegan Makes created this cottage-cute pallet artwork. Love this!
There are many more DIY pallet projects out there; some are simple, some more complicated. What do you think? Do you like projects that use pallet wood? I think I’m going to start with the simple planter boxes. Stay tuned!
