Have you been enjoying my Charming Home Series so far? It’s been fun for me to feature different home styles each week with all of you. There are so many amazing houses out there that I’ll never run out of material! I do get permission from each person before showcasing their beautifully decorated spaces … and lucky for me no one has turned me down so far! Today’s charming home tour hails from Maryland.
Meet Cristina from Remodelando la Casa!
What I love about her blog is that she shows how she accomplishes everything with plenty of DIY tips.
Cristina has no limits to her creativity.
In her pretty living room she employs window frames as artwork.
She changes the look of these frames from time to time as you’ll see when you visit her blog.
The family room is comfortable yet elegant.
Note the use of fun graphics that Cristina splashes throughout her home.
Modern artwork on the walls, and an amazing black and white ottoman steal the show.
From the family room, you can see into the kitchen with its eat-in dining area.
The gorgeous wood floors bask in the sunlight from the ample French doors. Lovely!
Isn’t Cristina’s kitchen amazing? I love its clean bright look.
The hanging orb lights repeat the circle shapes in the window treatment.
The dark kitchen island grounds the room and adds drama to the charming space.
In the dining room, fun globes replace a traditional lighting fixture.
A beautiful rug underfoot adds interesting pattern to airy blue and white room.
Even Cristina’s laundry room is charming and pretty.
Did you notice it also includes a bar area? Looks like the perfect way to me to do laundry!
Moving onto the guest room, you’ll notice yet another playfully patterned rug.
Red and white stripes and a red lamp add fun color to the clean, white decor.
Cristina’s daughter’s bedroom got an amazing makeover!
I just love the combination of the dark blue wall and the green curtain.
It all pops brilliantly against the white in the room. What a lucky girl to have a room like this.
The bathroom is both charming and classic.
Doors are left off the vanity and large baskets keep things looking neat and tidy.
Finally, I want to share this photo of Cristina’s fall mantel.
The way the leaves cascade off her painting of the tree is so clever.
It showcases Cristina’s creative talent and outside-the-box thinking.
Be sure to see more of her creativity on her blog at Remodelando la Casa!
