Job Description
Customer Experience Duties:
– Assist with general support channels, including phone, email, and customer product inquiries, for Dering Hall site visitors
– Contribute to managing our interior design trade program, reviewing applications and growing membership through outreach
– Serve as an expert on Dering Hall features and functionality; support new features as they launch
– Work effectively and efficiently with users who have varying degrees of product and technical proficiency, prioritizing and driving resolution of escalated user issues
Editorial Duties:
– Stay abreast of interior design trends to help brainstorm fresh story ideas that resonate with high-end design professionals
– Willingness to write for Dering Hall’s Journal editorial section as needed
– Assist with the production of editorial content, including photo slideshows, in content management system
– Ability to identify content that can work well on social media
Required Skills
– Passion for interior design
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an outgoing and friendly customer-facing demeanor
– Experience using various channels for delivering customer support, including phone, email, live chat, and screen sharing presentations
– Excellent computer and technical skills, including experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Google Suite and content management systems
– An inclination to innovate; constantly seeking ways to improve processes and team collaboration
– 1-2 years of experience in customer service/editorial environment, with demonstrable interest in interior design
