In the Leschi neighborhood of Seattle, designer Kenna Stout of Brio Interior Design updated a Four Square-style house originally built in 1916. Four Square homes were innovated in reaction to the excesses of Revival architecture, as turn-of-the-century builders returned to understated exteriors, and Kenna brings this American sense of simplicity to the renovated property.
