When Ana Luchangco of InSpace-NY Design was chosen to create a model apartment for the first Manhattan condominium by world-renowned architectural firm Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), founded by Rem Koolhaas, the designer imagined a young family that loves modernity, clean lines, and free-flowing spaces, but also bold colors and just a touch of Art Deco luxury.

In the living room, vintage accessories evocative of the Art Deco era reference the architecture of the building's Gramercy Park neighborhood, while mid-century furnishings, including a two-piece sectional sofa by Paul McCobb for Calvin, upholstered in a Maharam fabric, and a Harvey Probber tufted leather chaise bring a more contemporary feel; ombré sheer curtains diffuse the natural light flooding into the living room from the floor-to-ceiling interlocking planes of glass that are a signature element of the building.
