When a recently divorced executive commissioned Sweet Peas Design to transform a three-story home in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood, there was only one directive: create a masculine, laid-back environment. That’s just what the design firm and its principal, Susan Brunstrum, accomplished and according to the homeowner, the result is a “visual knockout.” Click through for a glimpse at the home, including a luxurious master bedroom suite, game room, and a spacious living room that’s perfect for lounging.

For the main level powder room, Sweet Peas Design chose a square vessel sink placed on a backlit quartzite countertop. The custom-designed, birch-grained leather mirror is anchored by white quartz walls with chrome banding.

The master bedroom includes a faux eel skin wall covering by Elitis via Donghia behind the bed, a Stark rug and cantilevered nightstands from Century.
