Omigoodness! If I lived in this perfect mountain home I’d feel like I’d died and gone to heaven! I love its warmth, blend of textures, and the amazing views through all the windows.

The exterior gives a hint to the textures and colors you’ll find inside. Stone pairs with rustic wood siding, while black metal details lend a touch of cool industrial style. A rain chain is used in lieu of a downspout.

The same stone treatment is repeated inside. Expansive windows provide views of the amazing vistas from every room in the house. Touches of black create a bit of drama and depth to the interiors.

The kitchen! I love all the windows. Wood beams along with light wood cabinets and flooring add warmth to this open space. When you have walls of windows, you don’t have to stress over how to decorate the walls. A perfect kitchen in a perfect mountain home. You’d feel like you were cooking outside.

A built-in banquette creates a cozy dining spot in the kitchen. As you can see, the windows wrap around the room providing serene views of Mother Nature outside. That’s one of my decorating “things.” I have to have lots of windows in my home. Maybe it’s partly due to being claustrophobic.

A gorgeous mudroom creates a transition area from the indoors to the outside world. I love the pairing of rustic elements like stone and wood with industrial elements like the black metal framing of the doors and windows. This perfect mountain home has such an earthy vibe.

The bathroom in today’s perfect mountain home doesn’t disappoint. A Roman shade can be lowered for privacy while bathing.

The bathroom is large and luxurious. The same wood tone cabinetry of the kitchen is used for the vanity. If you don’t want to relax in the tub, you can use the large walk-in shower.
